                               RESOLUTION NO. 20548
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                  THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE CITY
                  FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
                  RESPECTIVELY, ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT WITH DOWNS
                  ENGINEERING, INC. RELATIVE TO ENGINEERING
                  SERVICES FOR AN ADDITIONAL SIX (6) MONTHS ON
                  CONTRACT NO. SWM-1-93, STORMWATER PROJECTS
                  CONSTRUCTION, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF EIGHTY-
                  ONE THOUSAND, SIXTY-TWO AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                  ($81,062.00).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, Addendum to the
       Agreement with Downs Engineering, Inc. relative to engineering
       services for an additional six (6) months on Contract No.
       SWM-1-93, Stormwater Projects Construction, for a consideration 
of
       $81,062.00 for a revised total not to exceed $220,162.00.
